Seeing Clear

Chivas. I owe my last summer to Chivas.

I almost forgot what it was like to drown in the beat of music, to move not only as if I were part of the rhythm, but as if I were the rhythm, to feel like nothing could go wrong as long as the music doesn’t stop.

It cured some miniature heartbreaks, created some convincing false hopes, made me feel more beautiful than I actually was.

It looks promising on the rocks.

And then I was a little younger...
